Develop your team’s capacity to understand the sources of workplace violence and explore guidelines for its prevention.  While employees have a fundamental responsibility to protect themselves and their fellow co-workers, the majority are not equipped with the knowledge to recognize subtle forms of disruptive behaviors.   While there is no sure way of knowing when someone will resort to a violent act, frequently there are signs which indicate an individual is at risk.  These offerings aim to sharpen a workgroup’s capacity to detect troubling behaviors and evaluate options for accessing help. Seminars (currently being offered via webinar) are available to faculty and staff, as well as, managers and supervisors.

Seminars include:

  • Preventing Workplace Violence
  • Depression and Suicide Prevention
